About me . . .

I suppose you could call me an ‘entrepreneurial crafts person’.

Most of my adult working life I have worked with my hands in Hairdressing and Interior Design including furniture restoration. I have sold many of my paintings too.

Between all that I have owned 2 craft shops and when I retired from that, I started Craft Fairs in my home town of Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland where I have received a great response to my designs.

But for 20 yrs I have focussed mainly on fabric and yarn which has turned into Art Crochet  where these days I use crochet as a platform for my creativity.

Now nothing gives me more pleasure than getting an idea and to see the finished product featured on my website. And then it’s an added bonus to see it purchased and know that someone will then get great pleasure out of owning an original ‘Carol Carr’ creation!.
